It can be a simple adjustment to a piece of jewelry which will allow you to wear and enjoy an important piece of jewelry. OR ----
It can be an extensive restoration of rebuilding the complete piece of jewelry. Sometimes the designing is combining several pieces of jewelry into a ring, broach or pendant.
| My job is to find out what I can do to make you most comfortable with your decisions. When we reach a design or restoration, which is satisfactory, then we can proceed with the actual work and fabrication of the jewelry. I always try to keep as much of the original pieces as possible because of sentimental value. |

As a second-generation owner, I've worked full time in the jewelry industry as a bench jeweler for 37 years. I've increased my experience with the addition of many professional jewelry courses in basic and advanced stone setting and repairing, diamond grading and colored stones and gem identification. These were under the direction of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which is the standard of the jewelry industry. I’ve also taken other courses in advanced stone setting, fragile stone setting and platinum fabrication. Also the addition of a Laser Welder (the most high tech piece of equipment available to our industry) has advanced my ability to complete the most advanced repairs and custom designing ---on our premises.

My experience "at the bench" has been an ongoing work experience with many directions as to how to concentrate my work. I've been using my skills extensively in stone setting, fabricating of settings, restoration, and designing of sentimental pieces. Each designing project gives me the enjoyment of allowing jewelry to be used generation after generation. |
I find working with my customers at the counter and exchanging ideas has been very satisfying. I get a good idea of how my customers want the final design and what will be the most practical in price and time. Since all work is done on premises and I do all the work, this eliminates many of the problems of conveying the ideas of the customer.
I'll be glad to discuss any repairing or designing ideas with you. Of course, Free Estimates!
